Oahu Homes Sales and Prices Down in July 2011

According to the Pacific Business News online, “The number of homes sold on Oahu in July was down compared to the same month last year, as were the median prices, according to the Honolulu Board of Realtors.”

“There were 251 single-family homes sold in July, down 7.0 percent from the 270 homes sold during the same month last year. The median sales price for a single-family home last month was $591,000, down 2.2 percent from the $604,500 recorded in July 2010.”

“There were 300 condominiums sold on Oahu in July, down 8.3 percent from the 327 units sold in July of last year. The median sales price of a condo unit in July was $277,000, down 7.7 percent from the $300,000 recorded during the same month a year ago.”
