New Honolulu Condo Projects

New Honolulu Condo Projects

 

The Cove Waikiki will start public sales on December 11. In addition to this new project, there is another new condominium scheduled to start sales around the same time. It’s called Waihonua at Kewalo. Here’s a summary of these two new projects:

The Cove Waikiki

Location: 1800 and 1820 Kaioo Drive, Honolulu, HI 96815 (Waikiki)

Units: 117 units total, one-bedroom and two-bedroom

Type: 5-story, new construction.

Waihonua at Kewalo

Location: Waimanu Street, one block from Ala Moana Shopping Center (Kakaako).

Units: 345 units total, one, two and three-bedroom

Type: High-rise new contstruction.

Both projects were planned to start in 2008 intially, but the developers postponed the projects until now.

My Favorite Honolulu Neighborhoods:  Kuliouou, in the Diamond Head Region

 

Kuliouou is located just west, before you come to Hawaii Kai from Diamond Head and consists of both single family homes and townhomes. Elevations here are a little higher which results in slightly above average rain fall. It’s also quite lush as a result.

Sales begin for 43-story Honolulu Condo Building in the Ala Moana Neighborhood

Sales begin for 43-story Honolulu Condo Building in the Ala Moana Neighborhood

 

According to KHON News online, “Sales are beginning for units at a 43-story condominium building near downtown Honolulu.

A&B Properties, Inc. will begin sales Saturday for Waihonua at Kewalo.

The tower will be built between Ala Moana Center and Ward Center.

Developer Kewalo Development LLC, a subsidiary of A&B Properties, says it will be final high-rise condominium in that area.

Fee-simple prices will begin at $400,000 for one-bedroom units, $565,000 for two bedrooms and $720,000 for three bedrooms.

A&B Properties is Hawaii’s fourth-largest private landowner.”
