No Fishing From Waikiki and Diamond Head Beaches?  Temporary Ban

According to the “Star Advertiser” Honolulu newspaper, “The state Department of Land and Natural Resources will close the shoreline in the Waikiki and Diamond Head areas to all fishing next year so stocks can replenish.”

“In an announcement yesterday, the agency said no fishing will be allowed in the Waikiki-Diamond Head Shoreline Fisheries Management Area between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31.”
