Trumps Affirm Commitment to Hawaii Luxury Properties
According to “Waikiki News“, “With the successful opening of its landmark Waikiki Beach Walk property in 2009, Trump Hotel Collection reaffirmed its interest in Hawaii as a resort destination and its commitment to hotel property development. At a recent press reception, Donald D. Trump, Jr., and Eric Trump, sons of renowned developer Donald Trump, lauded the success of the Beachwalk property and the Trump Hotel Collection. The event was held in the sixth floor lobby of Trump International Hotel (TM) Waikiki Beach Walk(R).”
“Surrounded by expansive vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the city, Don Trump, Jr., shared the firm’s elation over winning this year’s Travel Leisure award for “Top Large City Hotel” for Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. Travel Leisure’s annual survey of readers also named the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Big Island as Hawaii’s top resort. Four Seasons also was named Hawaii’s best hotel spa. Trump Tower Waikiki – Update on Sales Activity
In respone to a blog posted a few days ago on Trump Tower Waikiki sales activity, I received a phone call from Frank Kim, who is involved with Trump Tower sales here in Honolulu, who had read the blog post and offered some corrections and updated information. Here’s what he emailed me:
“There are 27 units, 101% of asking due to resolds and $1,620 per square foot.”
That’s amazing. Resales are brisk and values are not only holding but appreciating at Trump Tower Waikiki.
I hope to be meeting Frank in the near future for a grand tour of some of the building features and amenities that I have not had the privilege of seeing yet, as well as learning about some units currently for sale with some great purchase incentives.

Holy Cow! Over a Half Billion Dollars in Sales at Trump Tower Waikiki Condos!
According to “Enhanced Online News (EON)”, “Four years after a record-breaking $700 million complete sellout, Trump International Hotel & Tower® Waikiki Beach Walk® is riding a new high. The ultra-luxury hotel-condominium located on prime Waikiki real estate announced that 317 units have closed to date for total sales of more than a half billion dollars with more closings in the coming weeks. Trump Tower Waikiki Hotel Occupancy Meets Goals and Expectations
According to the online edition of the “Honolulu Star Advertiser” newspaper, “Trump Waikiki Satisfied with Unit Occupancy”.
According to the newspaper, “The International Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk Trump is declaring that it has reached a critical mass, with a large majority of rooms and suites in service more than a year after opening.
It’s been a long, slow buildup for the ultraluxury property.”
